BTCL ADSL Connection 512kbps

Yesterday, I have got the connection from BTCL.
It required me to buy a modem. It cost me 3,600tk and 512kbps Bandwidth Charge is 12,000tk (=2,000tk per month) for 6months and Installation+Setup charged me 900tk. 16,500tk in total.
ADSL Connection also requires a telephone line. I thought it was like the Dial-Up connection I used to use by dialling 0101111 but ADSL is different. I can use the telephone and internet at the same time without any problem. I had to setup the router. It wasn’t so hard to setup the ADSL Router. All I needed to do is to configure a PPPoE username and password. And after you setup the username and passoword, all you need to do is connect your pc to the router (no dialling requires) and also you can connect as much pc as you wish without any IP Setting or dialling problem, just connect your pc with the router. And every PC from you router will have the same IP.
Now about the connection procedure: Actually, you won’t have to go to BTCL’s office. There is a BTCL Authorized Outsourcing Company (EMEM SystemsLimited). All you need to do is, fill the ADSL Application Form, Contract Form, 2 Copy Passport Size Image, A Copy of Your Telephone Connection’s Bill, Your National ID Card’s Photocopy and then submit them to EMEM Systems. They will do all the processing work with BTCL. Seriously, you won’t have to talk with any BTCL officer.
After you have successfully submitted everything, it generally requires you a week to get connected. I was supposed to get the connection on Sunday. But I have got my connection on Thursday. But I think it was fast enough, afterall it’s BTCL.
And EMEM Systems is friendly and supportive enough. You won’t have to deal with BTCL if you have any problem. If your telephone line is OK and noise free you will have to complain at EMEM Systems and they will solve the problem.
I am having some packet loss problem since I have got the connection. I complained them about it. They said everyone is haveing thisproblem at the moment. But they assured me that all these problems will be solved within a month. BTCL is just too lazy to fix the problems. But EMEM said that they will force BTCL to fix all the problem since they have a contract with BTCL.
Now all about this connection:
I will try to post all the details here. But if you need any more information about this connection, please ask on this thread.
